Bio
I am a lecturer in economics with expertise in industrial organization and a strong foundation in microeconomics. My research areas include competition policy, market design, and the economics of innovation. My early research contributed to the field of competition economics and market design by examining strategies that firms may use to exploit their dominant position, as well as the theoretical foundations of market mechanisms that promote greater competition. Recently, I have been focusing on issues related to innovation. For example, I am investigating firms’ incentives to disclose intermediate information from their research and using topological models to explain research patterns, capturing the competition for ideas among agents working on similar, though not necessarily identical, projects under varying incentive structures.
